PROJECT:
WSDOT is operating under a federal mandate to remove barriers to migrating salmon and steelhead. This project involved an old culvert diverting flows underneath Hwy 101, an off ramp, and a County road. The design builder, Parsons Scarsella JV, received approval to divert a substantial portion of the existing creek in order to bypass the culvert which blocked fish access from accessing 13 miles of upstream habitat.
WORK:
LaBonde performed 1 full acquisition for the relocation of a Mason County Park & Ride and acquired 11 Temporary Construction Easements.
